(Nasdaq: GTHX), a commercial-stage oncology company, today announced the closing of an underwritten public offering of 7,700,000 shares of its common stock at a public offering price of $6.50 per share. G1 Therapeutics received $50,050,000 in gross proceeds from the offering, before deducting underwriting discounts and commissions and offering expenses. In addition, G1 Therapeutics has granted the underwriters a 30-day option to purchase up to an additional 1,155,000 shares of common stock at the public offering price, less the underwriting discount. Cowen and Raymond James acted as joint book-running managers for the offering. Needham & Company and Wedbush PacGrow acted as lead managers for the offering.
